iCab Mobile 5.1 released. This update fixes several issues with iOS 5, adds support for the new Twitter panel of iOS 5 and some more.

Icon Contest

We've received a few requests to change the App icon to a better looking one (so it seems that not all users like the current icon). So we started an icon contest to find a new App icon for iCab Mobile. We received many icons for the contest, and you were able to vote for them. We would like to thank all of the participants who have send us an icon. We want to thank all the iCab Mobile users who have voted for their favorites icon as well.

The winner icon which is used for the next iCab icon is from Anton Kudin. He will also win 250 EUR, congratulations.

iCab Mobile 5.3 veröffentlicht. Dieses Update beinhaltet auch eine japanische Übersetzung und einige neue Funktionen.

iCab Mobile 5.1.2 (2011/11/11)

iCab Mobile 5.1.2 veröffentlicht. Dieses Update behebt ein Problem mit altern Geräten, auf denen man kein iOS 5 mehr installieren kann sowie ein Problem mit dem Abspielen von Audio unter iOS 5 wenn iCab im Hintergrund liegt.

iCab Mobile 5.1 veröffentlicht. Dieses Update behebt einige Probleme mit iOS 5, unterstützt das neue Twitter-Panel von iOS 5 und einiges mehr.

Icon-Wettbewerb

Wir hatten einige Anfragen bekommen, daß das aktuelle Icon durch ein schöneres ersetzt werden sollte (nicht allen hat das alte Icon gefallen). Daher beschlossen wir, einen Wettbewerb für ein neues Icon zu veranstalten. Wir bekamen viele Icon-Einsendungen, über die dann alle iCab Mobile-Nutzer abstimmen konnten. Wir möchten insbesondere allen Teilnehmern, die ein oder sogar mehrere Icons eingesendet haben, herzlich danken. Auch bedanken wir uns bei allen Anwendern, die bei der Abstimmung mitgemacht haben.

Das Icon mit den meisten Stimmen stammt von Anton Kudin und wird daher als neues iCab Mobile-Icon verwendet. Er gewinnt ebenfalls 250 EUR. Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
