Apple called me recently and requested that I remove the ability to let the user download and install modules from the internet. Therefore as of iCab Mobile 4.6, you can no longer download modules. But I don't want to remove the modules feature, so all the modules which were available from this page are now shiped with iCab Mobile. No need to download them anymore, and there's no feature missing.
Unfortunately Apple's descision does also prevent, that iCab users can easily write and distribute their own modules. But if you've written a module and want to provide it to other users, you can send it to me, and I'll add it to the next iCab Mobile update.
Apple hat mich vor kurzem gebeten, die Möglichkeit auf iCab Mobile zu entfernen, Module aus dem Internet zu laden und zu installieren. Daher können hier leider keine Module mehr zum Download angeboten werden und ab iCab Mobile 4.6 wird iCab auch keine Module mehr aus dem Internet laden können. Allerdings möchte ich nicht auf das Modules-Feature verzichten, so daß nun alle zuvor hier angebotenen Module ab iCab Mobile 4.6 direkt mitgeliefert werden und nicht mehr heruntergeladen werden müssen. Insofern ändert sich für den Anwender also nicht viel.
Leider hat Apples Entscheidung Auswirkungen auf Module die von anderen Anwendern geschrieben und verbreitet werden, die iCab nun nicht mehr laden kann. Autoren diese Module können aber gerne ihr Modul an mich schicken, so daß ich es der nächsten Version von iCab Mobile einfach hinzufügen kann.
